A man who was reported missing earlier today (Sunday 4 May) has been found safe and well. 

The 29-year-old man from Green Hammerton was found in York.

A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “As a result of today's media appeal, the missing 29-year-old man from Green Hammerton we were searching for has been found safe and well in York.”

Officers thanked everyone who shared their appeal to help locate the man.
